Big Problems In Beverly Hills

The bossy is having a fit today. Everything with the accounts is fine. No client complaints are rolling in. He had already done his business for the day.

He had found out about, scoured the area for, and purchased an unlocked Moto Rizr Z3. It’s like the Motorola version of the LG Chocolate, with the front display sliding halfway upwards to expose the rest of the keypad. It’s alright. But he had really wanted the phone. A lot. And the Cingular store hadn’t even heard of it. So, he got it from a T-Mobile dealer, even though he was still under Cingular contract. Both are the same network and use SIM card phones, and so he was determined to make it work.

Motorola Rizr Z3He threw up his hands, and started pouting like a child. This particular T-Mobile phone, even though unlocked, doesn’t work with Internet because the data bands are different for the two networks. It’s not so much he is on the Internet on his phone all the time–in fact, he doesn’t use Internet at all–but with no data connection and no data cable, he can’t download his favorite Family Guy ringtones. He can’t listen to Peter Griffin spouting off his automatic gun-like laugh whenever someone calls. He can’t listen to Stewie Griffin proclaiming world domination when someone leaves voicemail. Not being able to hear these soundbites whilst someone is trying to contact him takes out all the fun in having a phone.

He might even refuse to use the phone he so eagerly scoured for and needed to have right now, because it just wouldn’t be worth it without the right ringtones.

And that is the crisis of the day.

Everyone better have a great weekend.

Love,
*e

I can appreciate the novelty of having Peter Griffin laugh when the phone rings… but that must get incredibly annoying after a while.
