I really hate establishments that refuse people based on attire. You end up with poorly dressed straight boy finance types (no offense) in a button down and slacks. Ooo, fancy! The last time I was refused, I said "I guess my $300 dollar jeans aren't good enough, it's OK, I'll just go to a gay bar where ironically they don't care how you dress."
