Try some classic horror for a change. I recommend 1961's <i>The Innocents</i>. It starts as a ghost story but becomes more psychological horror, and has beautiful set and costume design, all shot in black and white. (Nicole Kidman's recent <i>The Others</i> seems at least partly inspired by this film.) The amount of BSing that goes into my idea of the typical Hollywood premiere party mildly terrifies me.
