Loved the city so much, actually. It was like the best of both worlds - southern charm and courtesy but also a very progressive town. :) Love that tex mex from Chuy's! Unfortunately, didn't get to experience the whole live music thing except for a cover band in a courtyard on 6th street. But it's all good, I think I got a great feel for it. Unfortunately, didn’t get to experience the whole live music thing except for a cover band in a courtyard on 6th street. But it’s all good, I think I got a great feel for it. I’m looking forward to an opportunity to go back!

Went to visit my bro-in-law a few years back and saw Bob Schnieder at an outdoor festival. People were friendly, atmosphere was laid back, and food was great. If he's playing, I highly suggest Bob Schnieder. He's from Austin and really gets the crowd excited. Have tons of fun! I LOVE Austin.
