There’s that corridor along Ocean Park Blvd. on the Westside between Santa Monica Airport, quaint, well-kept Clover park and Lincoln Blvd. that doesn’t have a whole lot going on – perhaps except Mrs. Winston’s Green Grocery. Well, there’s another cafÃ© and market that just might help add up to a mini-revitalization.
Formerly a catering-only company (Thyme Catering), Thyme is now expanding to a dine-in cafÃ© and market. Maire Byrne, a Southern California native, will feature seasonal, fresh gourmet foods available for dining in, gifting or to take with you on-the-go. Frozen treats can be brought home but also seasonal sandwiches, salads, soups and pastries are available for eating in-house or taking with you for entertaining at home. Picnic packages can be picked up (perhaps on your way to the Bowl?) and Thyme will also offer deliveries.
