Do you work in downtown LA? Are you running out of quick, interesting lunch options? Drago Centro has come up with a solution – set to change regularly according to season and intermittently featuring some favorite menu items straight out of Chef Celestino Drago’s kitchen. It will run you $25 for an appetizer, entree and dessert – while clocking your entire lunch at under 30 minutes.

Peep the current prix fixe offering – and taste this plus all the offerings to come:

  • Le Lattughe Miste
mixed baby lettuces, shaved parmesan, red wine vinaigrette
  • La Coda
    braised oxtail, soft polenta
  • Il Tiramisu
    individual tiramisu

Got a little time? Chef de Cuisine Ian Gresik has also introduced some new things to Drago’s menu, like L’insalata di cappesante (seared scallops, butter lettuce, lemon poppy seed dressing); L’insalata tritata (Italian-style chopped salad, turkey, bacon, gorgonzola) and La pizza ai funghi (forest mushrooms and béchamel). Smaller portion signature pastas include: Le pappardelle al fagiano (pappardelle, roasted pheasant, morel mushrooms); Il risotto con zucca e pancetta (risotto, butternut squash, pancetta, taleggio cream) and I garganelli (garganelli, pork sausage, parmesan, fennel seeds).

On the run or not, it might be a good time overall to visit Drago Centro to see how they’ve revitalized their menu. And while you’re there, you might as well sample Michael Shearin’s absolutely wonderful cocktail menu (they will be $12 and not $8 but well worth it)!

Wow! It took me 30 minutes to FIND THE RESTAURANT (the first time) after I parked. : )

LOL!! That is so hilarious, and I may or may not have had a similar experience! Those one-way streets make it so crazy, especially in traffic!
